Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.

Name of Product: KéO Bicycle Pedals

Units: About 80,000 (40,000 pairs)

Distributor: Look Cycle USA, of San Jose, Calif.

Hazard: The steel axle inside the pedal can break, posing a fall hazard to cyclists.

Pedal models include KéO Classic, KéO Sprint, KéO HM and KéO Carbon. The model name is printed in white on the side of the pedal. The date code for the KéO HM is on the bottom of the pedal, with the letters A through L corresponding to the month, and the numbers 4 and 5 indicating 2004 or 2005. “Ti” pedals are not included in this recall.

We call Zipp and guess what they say? Our cranks are only compatible with threaded bb shells. What? Thanks for the mis-lead on your web site Zipp! BB 30 is not a threaded bottom bracket. BB 30 is a non threaded direct mount crank/bottom bracket sytem. If we have to use adapters to make a BB 30 a threaded BB than why not run a threaded BB? Come on Zipp!

You’re not just paying for the bike fit but your paying for the 20 years it took me to fit you so well and efficiently.

I look at it this way.. You can go to a bike fitter that just went through a fit farm at Trek or Specialized or you can pay someone that really cares about and take pride in his work.

Look Keo Fit Analysis

I’ve been using the Look Keo FIT pedal stroke Analysis device for a week now. I must say I’m very impressed. The devise gives me a better reading on the correct amplitude (total float) and position for cleat placement. I have a half dozen test subjects out riding the adjusted cleat positions and so far they have had nothing but positive to say. I looks like i will be adding the service to my fit regimen. Stay tuned
